Solar

Increasing solar production in the West River is key to weaning homes and businesses off fossil fuels. West River Valley 100% Renewable has entered into an innovative partnership with three companies that together will finance, permit and build multiple solar projects in the West River Valley! Transportation

West River Valley 100% Renewable has set its sights on replacing one of the diesel school buses that serves students in the West River Valley with an electric school bus. With support from the Vermont Energy Information Council (VEIC), we hope to serve as the catalyst for a partnership between our local school district, the company that owns the school buses that serve the West River Valley, and Highland Electric, which has a successful leasing program for electric school buses. Heating and Cooling

Since businesses generally require more energy to run than a home, West River Valley 100% Renewable seeks businesses in the West River Valley interested in partnering with Efficiency Vermont and Green Mountain Power to emulate what Grace Cottage Hospital has accomplished—a significant reduction in energy use and costs by investing in energy conservation.
